Once turned vegetarian, Christofer sought after a comprehensive guide to help aid with his newfound lifestyle. However, since this simple query of finding a well-organized directory of local restaurants and grocery stores at the time resulted in no matches, he himself decided to create one. The accumulation:
Vegan NYC, the go-to guide for vegans and vegetarians living within the NYC metropolitan area.

When not looking for fine vegetarian dining, Christofer works as a Senior Art Director at Kay Multimedia, where he oversees the user experience strategies and the visual design aspects of all their web and print work.

Moreover, as a print and web designer with extensive experience, Christofer is used to multi-tasking and collaborating with both national and international clientele; he has won numerous awards and provided insight and design solutions for such clients as Clarins, Estée Lauder, Screenvision, the Segal Company and Thomson Financial.

Born and raised in Stockholm, Sweden, Christofer resides in New York City with his wife, Nilda Nystrom, a Research Scientist at the Center for Neural Science at New York University. He holds a BA in Graphic Communications from Baruch College, and a MA in Graphic Communications Management and Technology from New York University.
